The Town of Port Hedland's annual Festive Lights Competition returns in 2024, bringing light and brightness back to Hedland this holiday season!
Registrations have officially opened, and close on Wednesday 4 December.
This year, there is $4000 in cash prizes up for grabs, so dig out those Christmas lights and decorations and let your creativity flow!

The Town of Port Hedland is seeking feedback on a proposal to prohibit dogs and vehicles on certain beaches where turtle nesting occurs.
What's proposed?

Permanent driving ban on part of Spoilbank (Only on the Eastern side)
-
Temporary, seasonal ban of dogs on nesting beaches - even on leashes (Cemetery Beach, Spoilbank, Four Mile and Pretty Pool)
